All forms of substance abuse are health concerns in Idaho, from alcohol and prescription medications to illicit drugs like cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and meth. The latest data published by SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) show that overall rates of addiction in the United States continue to rise, although there is an increase in the amount of people engaging with addiction treatment.

With one in ten Idaho residents reporting past-month substance abuse and many failing to engage with treatment due to a lack of knowledge, calling an addiction hotline can help many people begin their recovery journeys. By calling a substance abuse hotline in Idaho, residents can find out how to address any issues related to the abuse of drink or drugs.
