How To Enter

We are passionate about education and want to ensure people have the tools they need to accomplish success. Therefore, Addiction Hotline is offering a $500 scholarship to a college student attending a US University. 

The Steps:

  1. Write a 700 word essay on the following prompt
    • What is the role of community in addiction recovery? Do you think local communities play a pivotal role in creating a supportive environment for individuals in addiction treatment?
  2. Apply to the scholarship by clicking below with the following requirements
    • Subject line “Addiction Hotline 2024 Scholarship *your name*
    • A picture of a valid ID
    • Proof of enrollment at a University as of Fall 2024
  3. The last day to submit the essay will be August 30th
  4. The winner will be contacted by September 6th
    • If you are not contacted, unfortunately we were unable to offer you the scholarship
  5. The winner will then be featured in our social media and blog congratulating them.
    • The contents of the winners essay will not be publicly shared
